Our Software Development Unit for Connectivity product line is a newly established small team in Dortmund.
We create a B2B site on public could, based on a microservice approach und integrate with existing services in OpusCapita Group in order
to deliver our customers high quality and easy to use procurement/financial solutions.
Our teams are small, agile and rather independent, working in a low hierarchy at the office.
You will have your own responsibilities but also accountability for the results of the entire team.
ABOUT THE JOB
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Development of a portal webapp based on our favourite technologies NodeJS,
ReactJS + Express + Redux, using github code/project management
- active participation in open source projects used by us
- agile work with a feature based approach and continuous deployment
monitoring and operation of the provided services
WHAT WE WOULD LIKE FROM YOU?
We are looking for passionate developers that like real business projects. You love working with others in a team
and love to constructively discuss your ideas to find best approaches.
If you are not stuck on a specific language/method and are excited about understanding new concepts, have an open mindset
you fit into our dev team.
In your application we will be looking for:
- Bachelor in information science, math, physics oder similar education/experience
- You have experience programming web apps with JavaScript (front- and backend), CSS, HTML
- You are familiar with relational databases, ideally MySQL
- You worked already in scope of a microservice based architecture
- You believe in the benefit of test automation
- Figuring out how you can make something better from something good is what you like
- You can refine customer feedback out of early confrontation into a better working product for all parties
- You love sharing and reflecting your experience with your team mates in order to bring yourself and them to the next level
- You are used to daily professionel communication in English but also able to speak/understand German for local socialising
